The Prince and Princess of Wales are Prince William and Catherine (née Middleton).Prince William is the elder son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana. He became the Prince of Wales on September 9, 2022, after his father’s accession to the throne. Catherine Middleton became the Princess of Wales on the same day upon her husband’s new title.Prince William and Catherine have three children together: Prince George (born 2013), Princess Charlotte (born 2015), and Prince Louis (born 2018). They are second, third, and fourth in the line of succession to the British throne respectively after Prince William.As the Prince of Wales, William supports the King and the Royal Family through official engagements, royal duties, and charitable work in the UK and overseas. Catherine, as the Princess of Wales, also undertakes royal duties and engagements alongside her husband in support of the monarch.The couple’s official residence is Kensington Palace in London, but they also spend time at their private residence in Norfolk.
